The CNET Networks Entertainment group--including GameSpot, MP3.com, TV.com and FilmSpot--is searching for a Senior Technical Producer. The Senior Technical Producer will have a variety of duties but will primarily focus on mentoring junior-level producers and acting as lead producer on large-scale projects, including hand coding HTML and CSS for new sites, redesigns of existing sites, and site improvements. Duties will also include general site maintenance, building mini-sites and multi-page feature stories, and using internal Web-based publishing tools to post stories, batch-process images, and produce HTML newsletters. The candidate should also possess a strong knowledge of standards, accessibility, usability, cross browser compatibility and 'future-proof' code.
Job Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS required
- Must be proficient in hand coding HTML and CSS
- Strong knowledge of PhotoShop required
- Knowledge with JavaScript, PHP, Smarty, SQL, Flash, and Debabelizer
- Must be able to learn new skills and processes quickly
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills necessary
- Must be able to work out of San Francisco office
- 5 yrs. related experience
- B.A. or B.S. required or equivalent training and experience
