Job Description: Responsible for daytoday support activities, incident management and troubleshooting of site distributed computing environment and applications. Analyze work group systems\processes and recommend solutions. Manage customer incidents and escalation from the differing levels of support. Drive day to day business needs by managing processes and/or workflow. Responds to customer and/or client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.
Qualifications
You should possess a relevant educational qualification with three to five years of experience in Windows* Server* 2000 and/or 2003 Administration. Additional qualifications include:
- Working knowledge of SQL* Server, SQL* Database Administration, SQL* DTS, SQL* Clustering, Web Clustering, and IIS administration
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to deliver results with minimal supervision
- A selfstarter
- Superior customer orientation
- Excellent project management and teamwork skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Web application support
- Experience with Veritas Tape* Backup software would be an added advantage
- Experience with Visual Source Safe Administration* would be an added advantage
- Certification in MCSE, MCDBA or MCSA would be an added advantage
