Mobile Developer at MLB

Mobile Developers are responsible for the efficient implementation of code based on team-derived requirements and processes. Work will focus on middle tier, back end, and data access layer development but also includes some front-end development as well. The Mobile Developer will also be responsible for comprehensive unit testing, as well as working with our QA team to automate the acceptance testing of their work.

General Requirements:

Mobile Experience:

• mobile messaging (sms, smpp, mms, mm7)
• wap 2.0 (xhtml)
• device detection
• mobile content management

Development Experience:

• 4+ years of java experience
• unit testing (junit)
• design patterns and refactoring
• multi-threading, multi-process
• REST web services
• jms or any messaging middleware
• jdbc, hibernate
• web containers (any tomcat equivalent)
• subversion
• xml
• regular expressions
