Director of Ad Sales at Freewebs

Provide world class leadership and strategic management of Advertising Sales at Freewebs.com. End to end responsibility for all phases of the advertising sales cycle including but not limited to, sales strategies, territory planning, hiring, developing and motivating sales talent. This position manages direct to client and Premium agency sales. Establishment of sales practices, policies, coaching of staff is critical. Also accountable for specialized intervention for client retention, satisfaction and problem resolution as needed. The Director of Advertising Sales should provide proactive, innovative and consultative direction to the organization in shaping its sales culture and driving revenue to meet and exceed targets and goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Maximum monetization of web site properties through effective management of inventory and client targeting and coordination with product and content initiatives
  • Take a leadership role in moving the organization to a new level of performance by proactively providing leading-edge sales strategies, plans, policies and initiatives
  • Utilizes sales reporting and management of systems for sales efficiency, forecasting, planning, communication and client tracking
  • Provide input and ideas to implement forward thinking, effective and efficient customer support, account management and client facing support services and methods to improve customer retention and satisfaction
  • Serve as key leader in developing the skills, savvy and decision making abilities of Freewebs employees in customer related decisions
  • Participate in planning

Qualification & Skills:
  • At least four (4) years of successful Advertising Sales experience
  • Strong knowledge and proven ability in the on-line media market
  • Complete confidence and proven record of closing large deals and surface new opportunities for the organization
