Break.com is seeking a Director, Sales Strategy West Coast to support our ad sales management team in developing plans, strategies and recommendations for new ad sales tools and products.
Responsibilities
- Support ad sales management in the development of strategy, operations and long-range plans
- Help identify, analyze and recommend new ad sales products
- Provide financial and strategic analysis to support existing ad sales businesses
- Perform financial modeling and analysis to evaluate new business opportunities for ad sales including but not limited to online acquisitions, new channel launches, and strategic partnerships
- Monitor the advertising industry for key trends, competitive dynamics, market estimates and the development of emerging technologies
- Interact with sales force to compile recent news events for ourselves and our competitors
- Keep current on emerging technology trends that impact ad sales
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in online media and strategic planning
- Prior experience in media industry preferred
- Proficiency in excel, powerpoint, and using research databases
- Excellent financial modeling and quantitative skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis
- Strong interpersonal capabilities
