Job Description:
One of TEKsystems clients, a major multinational Pharmaceutical company located in Mississauga, has an immediate need for a Classic ASP/.NET Developer to join their team for a three month opportunity.
Skills:
- Classic ASP
- .NET development (C#, VB.NET in both .NET 1.1 and 2.0 Frameworks for potential extension)
- Oracle 9i
- most logic is in the front end, but needs to be able to set up tables, maintain tables, set up triggers and stored procedures
- PL/SQL
- Javascript
- Intranet application experience preferred
- Exposure to JD Edwards is an asset
- Must have worked in a team environment (team of 10)
- Must be able to code independently as part of that team
- Great communication skills – no comprehension issues allowed as compliance is a major issue
- Quick to learn internal processes
- MCSD or MCAD is an asset
