The Consumer Electronics (CE) Global Account Manager will manage our worldwide partnerships with some of the biggest companies in the consumer electronics industry. The position’s primary objectives are to increase our partnerships through the growth of existing business, and obtaining new business opportunities within existing accounts.

THE EVERYDAY VIEW
- Create account strategies
- Seek out and define new business opportunities
- Manage the tactical implementation of account strategies
- Communicate with field sales teams and execute tactical objectives
- Represent DivX during customer meetings
- Determine DivX value propositions from customer meetings
- Plan, track and follow-up on deliverables, both internal and external
- Analyze customer and market data and provide reports and recommendations for revenue streams, product launches and marketing activity based on market trends
- Investigate and understand each customer’s business to identify new opportunities
- Identify, recommend and execute workflow process changes to efficiently scale the business
- Drive contract negotiations and execution
- Negotiate deal terms
- Forecast quarterly business on an account basis
- Travel to customer locations and major trade shows on an as-needed basis

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
- Results-driven personality with the ability to ensure customer objectives are realized
- Proven track record of account management and sales success
- A firm understanding of the consumer electronics industry
- Former experience in one of the following areas: Sales, Product Management, Business Development, Program or Project Management
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to maintain good relationships with clients
- Demonstrated ability to develop and present highly professional, effective presentations for both business and technical audiences
- Proficient in managing complex contract negotiations
- Seasoned matrix management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage time
- Ability to work very flexible hours to conduct business around the world
- Ability to adapt to different business cultures
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Japanese, Korean, German and French is a plus
- Proficiency in assessing and communicating customer needs

- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- In-depth knowledge of DivX, Inc’s suite of products and services
- Knowledge of video compression technologies
- Exceptional market knowledge, particularly as it pertains to video technology and the consumer electronics product market including the retail channel
