• BSc. in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience
• 2+ years working experience designing and building applications with languages such as PHP, Java, C++, C#
• 2+ years experience with Linux, Apache, MySQL
• Experience with a revision control system
• Experience with AJAX, CSS, Javascript an asset
• Experience designing and implementing interfaces using Prototype, Scriptaculous, or other AJAX UI libraries an asset
• Experience with Flash programming and manipulating multimedia files (photos, videos, etc.) an asset

Job Description
The role requires a minimum of 4 years in a software development role. Supporting existing and new applications relating to B2C and B2B business units, with a development slant towards Java Infrastructure (or Perl).
Responsibilities

Areas of key responsibility are:

• Dealing with problems, queries and requests for change relating to Tiscali's inhouse BSS / OSS
• Provide development / tools to interface into Tiscali's Billing and Provisioning systems, with strong skillls in Perl, PhP or Java and DB experience in either PLSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or Informix.
• Development of applications in a multitude of languages and platforms in line with the requirements of the business
