Role:

• This a full time role based in our Innovation Centre, Aurangabad, India.
• You will be leading, participating to research, architecture, design & development an innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

Skills:

• 3 to 4 years of experience in developing online commerce solutions using PHP, MySQL, AJAX, Object Oriented Approach, MVC, Java Script
• Experience in Zend Framework or other PHP frameworks (like Symfony
• Hands-on & very strong in Object Oriented concepts, design and architecture
• Ability to discuss, analyze and suggest Rich UI development approach

Nice to have things which will make us take notice:

Maintenance Manager/CSS/PHP Web Developer at Image X Media

Summary:

• Image X Media is looking for a talented web developer with exceptional customer service skills.
• The position requires someone with experience in developing sites with PHP/MySQL and
• HTML/CSS (table-less layouts).
• The position requires excellent programming skills, problem solving abilities, a strong work ethic and an eye for design.
• Reporting to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple maintenance contracts for client sites and for building out sites on the Drupal content management system.
• (Drupal training will be provided if you don’t have previous experience with this CMS)

Responsibilities

• Working with a team (designers, creative director, project manager, and other developers) to manage our different clients’ website maintenance needs.
• Responsible for providing training for client on how to update their site.
• Testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of existing client sites.
• Responsible for planning & fixing internal network from time to time (internet, phone, etc.)
  

Requirements:

• Excellence in customer service
• Independence, willingness to learn and problem solving skills are a must.
• At least two years of related work experience/education.
• Must be able to handle a fast paced work environment, deadlines, and new challenges.
• Ability to communicate and work well with others.
• Good leadership abilities with strengths in training and delegating

Technical Skills:

• Proficient with handcoding HTML and tableless CSS.
• Advanced knowledge and implementation of W3C Web Standards
• Dynamic/Database Driven Development (PHP/MySQL).
• JavaScript; experience with AJAX or jQuery is an asset.
• Experience with the Drupal content management system is asset.
• Adobe Flash/Action Scripting is an asset.
• Apache server configuration and tuning is an asset
• ASP is an asset.

Compensation:

• $50,000 base salary (for experienced developer) plus full benefits and profit sharing incentives.
• Position is only available for onsite work at our South Surrey studio.
