Job for Tickets.com Openings at MLB

The Client Services Representative is responsible for maintaining relationships with Tickets.com's box office clients. Responsibilities include event creation, season account support, training and support for Box Office staff and management, and performing box office duties when required.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Creates events and models for non-standard and series events.
  • Assists Box Office staff in operating the ticketing system including initial training, follow-up training, and phone support for sellers, accounting staff and management.
  • Provides client support while events are on sale and at performance times.
  • Analyzes and suggests season-account procedures for series events.
  • Maintains task timelines for Season clients and meets all required deadlines.
  • Supports Info-manager function on all clients' events.
  • Fulfills box office duties including selling tickets, will-calls, settlement, advance printing, etc. in response to client need.

Additional Functions:
  • Performs some programming duties as required.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Driver's License and a good DMV report. Must have reliable transportation with adequate insurance coverage.
  • Two years experience with ticketing strongly preferred. Tickets.com-system literacy preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and meet project requirements with minimal supervision.
  • Must be personable and client-oriented.
  • Knowledge and understanding of event/promoter priority is strongly preferred.
  • Computer literacy strongly preferred - Word processing, Spreadsheet, and Database experience.

S/he will primarily be building flash based components utilizing existing API / framework as well as producing graphic assets and animation assets for various projects.

The Editorial Producer is responsible for creating content and maintaining SOE's partner sites, such as MLSNet.com, WCSN.com, SNY.tv, YESNetwork.com, AVP.com, Minor League Baseball, USA Baseball, Tiger Woods Mobile, and more. Editorial Producers work closely with partner representatives, and independent columnists and writers to ensure that the sites provide users with the most relevant, informative and interesting content possible.

Responsibilities:
  • Editing and posting all content for use on partner websites
  • Write headlines, captions, blurbs for partner websites
  • Select and crop photos
  • Make judgments on story significance and arrange content into lead packages

  • Research proper accounting treatment for new initiatives and document accounting policies and practices related to significant transactions as determined by the VP & Controller and CFO.

  • Prepare quarterly debt covenant calculations.

Content Management System (CMS) Developers are responsible for the design and implementation of applications and tools, which manage our web properties. The candidate will be responsible for devising strategies for bringing new and existing web properties into our content management systems. He or she will work closely with technical and production teams to gather functionality requirements, create supporting data models and develop efficient content generation templates.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:
The Advertising Operations Manager will be responsible for implementing and managing processes and coordinating and providing support related to the Advertising-Operations activities of MLB.com and other sports properties. This position will be responsible for targeting, coding, launching and reporting on ad campaigns within the Dart for Publishers (DFP) ad serving system. This will also require daily interaction with a team of Business Managers, Sponsorship staff and clients to ensure consistent and smooth ad-ops procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Use the Dart for Publishing (DFP) ad serving system to traffic and test creative, schedule and target ad campaigns, and provide reporting
  • Interaction and coordination with numerous internal and external personnel and clients to ensure flawless advertising campaign executions
  • Ongoing quality assurance support; troubleshoot rich media creative
  • Provide assistance with running and interpreting third party tagging and reporting as needed (e.g. Atlas, DFA)
  • Identify opportunities to implement solutions that increase the effectiveness and efficiencies of the Ad Ops department, including the development of tools, process and reports related to job responsibilities
Requirements:
