Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and automated functional tests as well as large-scale system tests for Akamai services
- Measure server performance and ensure scalability from release-to-release
- Develop automated tests to replicate real-world scenarios that plug into a regression test harness
- Review bug descriptions, functional requirements, and design documents
- Work closely with developers to design test criteria and develop test plans
- Work in parallel on more than one QA project at a time
Qualifications:
- Experience with languages such as Perl, SQL, and C/C++
- Experience with Linux/Unix operations system required
- Knowledge of web technologies is a plus, especially PHP, CGI, HTML, and JavaScript
- Strong technical background & computer coursework, good communication skills, responsible and diligent
