Software Java Engineer

The LinkedIn engineering team is seeking highly talented and dedicated people who are passionate about making a difference. As a software engineer at LinkedIn you will be responsible for producing high quality designs and code for our business critical Web 2.0 features that are relied on by millions of professionals worldwide:

• Java developer with in depth hands on knowledge of Java, the J2EE platform and experience working with relevant tools (IDEs, ant, junit, etc.)
• Solid understanding of OOP and design patterns
• Experienced with the entire product development lifecycle from design specifications to testing
• Enjoys working in a fast paced collaborative and iterative programming environment with short release cycles
• Strong understanding of the server side software, scalability, performance and reliability aspects
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
