Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the VeohTV Windows application
- Work with engineering leadership to implement new features
- Work with product management to add new user features
- Improve video playback experience through the client
- Lower application crash rate through crash report analysis and subsequent resolutions and unit testing
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience building GUI applications for XP and Vista
- Deep knowledge and proficiency in Win32 internals
- Advanced C++ skills with strong OO analysis and design
- Extensive experience with Win32 user interface API (GDI / GDI+ / Windows Media Format SDK)
- Detailed knowledge of COM, ATL, WTL preferred
- Experience developing and shipping multimedia windows client applications preferred.
- Knowledge of media codecs, DRM, media players, and streaming video strongly desired.
- Excellent communication skills, works well with teams, and enjoys a collaborative development process.
