We have an immediate opening for a full-time PC LAN Tech who will be responsible for providing outstanding support to our internal team and systems support to our e-commerce web site.
Responsibilities
- Provide end user support for hardware, software and network issues for internal customers.
- Software installs, hardware installs, imaging, Email administration, permission modifications, presentation setup and OS migrations.
- Ensure issues are resolved or escalated in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Provide technical documentation, enforce and update policies and procedures and keep all records and images up to date.
- Troubleshoot user hardware, software and network problems on all Windows and MAC platforms.
- Rollout software and hardware to employees.
- Setup and troubleshoot personal and network printers. Repair hardware when necessary.
- Oversee a growing office network of 70+ desktops in email, software and networking issues
- Oversee phone system using Nortel equipment.
- Create and modify user accounts, email accounts and administer file level security.
- Ensure Knowledge Base, Policies and install sheets are up to date
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a desktop hardware, software, and/or technical support environment supporting all Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
- B.SC desired
- Excellent Customer Service and communication skills required
- In depth knowledge of various software applications, including MS Windows, the MS Office Suite, and Exchange
- High degree of service orientation, good problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
