Job Description:
We are looking for an exceptionally skilled QA Engineer to work on a new MMORPG currently in production. This role would be a great entry into the video games industry for a talented and bright college grad. The ideal candidate works well in a professional environment with colleagues who are passionate about making great games.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for taking ownership of product quality in a major engineering initiative
- Work in a collaborative team environment and direct the daily activities of QA Team members
- Evaluate requirements for testability, review system designs, develop a quality plan, create test plans, execute thorough tests, select and/or develop testing tools, and write test cases/scripts to ensure a high-quality customer experience
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and write C#, Java, or Visual Basic code
- Solid understanding of and experience with Windows operating systems
- Understanding of and proficiency with Visual Studio 2005 testing tools
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Ruby, Python or Perl
- Must have very good written and verbal communication skills
- Good positive attitude and outlook, self-motivated, and a great team-player
- A passion for developing games, as well as being an avid gamer
