Job Summary:
We are currently looking to hire a motion graphics genus to be responsible for all motion graphics and animation elements for the company, including general on-site branding (bumpers, promos), original series branding (intros/outros), general advertising and marketing needs (reels, motion ads). Candidates should have at least 2 years experience and a demo reel to prove it. You are a team player that takes direction well, and can take a project from inception to completion in a fast paced deadline oriented environment. You have a proven ability to create and integrate 2D and 3D elements into motion graphics sequences using a broad range of 2D/3D applications. You are highly organized, detail oriented and have experience working with video in programs such as Final Cut Pro, Compressor, and QuickTime pro.
Essential Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- The candidate should also have basic video editing skills, and will occasionally assist in general content housekeeping, with tasks like capturing and editing video, trans-coding video content, ftp-ing files, etc.
- All Candidates must have:
- 2 years of After Effects experience
- An intermediate level of 3D experience (Modeling / Lighting / rendering elements for graphics use)
- A thorough knowledge of:
- The Adobe Creative suite
- Maya or 3D Studio Max
- Audio Video Compression / File Formats
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Mac OS X operating system (Working on a PC based Network)
- Knowledge of FTP and TCP/IP conventions
- Basic working knowledge of:
- Final Cut Pro
- Motion
- QuickTime Pro
- Sorenson Squeeze
- DVD Authoring Software
