Break.com is seeking a Director, Sales Strategy West Coast to support our ad sales management team in developing plans, strategies and recommendations for new ad sales tools and products.

Responsibilities
  • Support ad sales management in the development of strategy, operations and long-range plans
  • Help identify, analyze and recommend new ad sales products
  • Provide financial and strategic analysis to support existing ad sales businesses
  • Perform financial modeling and analysis to evaluate new business opportunities for ad sales including but not limited to online acquisitions, new channel launches, and strategic partnerships
  • Monitor the advertising industry for key trends, competitive dynamics, market estimates and the development of emerging technologies
  • Interact with sales force to compile recent news events for ourselves and our competitors
  • Keep current on emerging technology trends that impact ad sales
Required Qualifications/Skills
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in online media and strategic planning
  • Prior experience in media industry preferred
  • Proficiency in excel, powerpoint, and using research databases
  • Excellent financial modeling and quantitative skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis
  • Strong interpersonal capabilities
