Marketing Producer at MLB

As a Marketing Prducer, yu will wrk with assigned Majr League Baseball Club persnnel and internal Marketing and Technical departments t ptimize the verall perfrmance f the Club fficial websites. High-prfile, fast-paced and challenging pprtunity will allw yu t make a significant cntributin t the success f the MLB.cm prtal f Club websites.

Minimum Requirements Bachelrs Degree
  • At least 3 years wrking experience in Web Prductin that includes:
  • Expert HTML and CSS skills (MUST be cmfrtable hand-cding)
  • Gd image prductin skills with Phtshp and Illustratr
  • Wrking knwledge f Micrsft ffice applicatins
  • Experience with JavaScript a plus

  • Understanding f the Internet business - e-cmmerce, marketing, spnsrship, subscriptin prducts
  • Prject management experience, specifically the ability t manage technical prjects frm cnceptin t implementatin
  • Ability t develp crdial, prfessinal relatinships with all level f Club persnnel and MLB staff
  • Detail-riented, rganized and excellent verbal and written cmmunicatin skills
  • Familiarity with the game f baseball
  • Ability t multi-task and wrk under strict deadlines
  • Flexible schedule: available weekends and late nights thrughut the year, as needed
  • bjectives/Rles ptimizes verall perfrmance f Club sites as it relates t increasing traffic, registered users and revenue generatin
  • Acts as a liaisn between assigned Clubs and MLBAM persnnel
  • Manages Club-specific feature/functinality develpment including, but nt limited t: prmtins, subscriptin prducts, Club.cm Shp & Ticketing initiatives, sweepstakes and ther marketing pages
  • Crdinates design, editrial, and technical teams during new feature/functinality develpment prjects; develps and manages schedule and prject budget
  • Serves as pint persn fr tech/design trubleshting in supprt f daily site QA fr assigned Clubs
  • Prduces, prfs, tests and sends HTML and Text nline newsletters and ther email cmmunicatin fr assigned Clubs thrugh email delivery sftware
  • Creates directries and wrk areas within MLBAM CMS fr new prjects as necessary
  • Fulfills ther prductin respnsibilities as assigned by Club Prject Manager r ther apprpriate managers
  • Prvides sund feedback and suggestins fr enhancing the user experience fr the prtal verall
  • Prvides additinal prductin backup and QA supprt fr netwrk f ther Marketing Prducers
  • Tracks data, analyzes results and implements changes based n cllected site data
Use f Time
  • Prductin f updates and new pages, graphics, functinality and features fr assigned Club sites (60%)
  • Interface with Club persnnel, and MLBAM design and tech engineers as necessary, n page updates and develpment f new functinality (30%)
  • Administrative duties such as tracking cmpleted prjects, cllecting and presenting site data (10%)
