We're looking for a smart, savvy, hard-working Business Analyst to use his/her exceptional analytical, problem-solving and communication skills to help drive future product decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong combination of analytical skills and business savvy.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct analyses that answer business critical questions
- Liaise with the Product team to ensure that all key metrics are being tracked with each product release
- Gather, track and analyze key performance metrics to provide explanations for significant changes and drive overall business growth
- Write and Interpret complex MySQL queries for standard as well as ad-hoc data mining purposes
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key metrics
- A minimum of 3 years work experience in a relevant field, preferably within the Quantitative Market Research or Data-mining department of a high growth company
- Advanced MS Excel modeling skills required; Experience with data query tools (e.g. MySQL) and databases is preferred, although strong desire to learn these skills is acceptable
- Superior intellectual and quantitative analysis abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and superb attention to detail
- Comfort with and a desire to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
