Description
Develops client & server-side web solutions: database design and SQL, development/integration of server side scripts/components, Javascript development, & XHTML/CSS markup.
- Works in LAMP environments (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP).
- Develop custom Object-Oriented PHP & Javascript.
- Develop custom SQL; design & extend relational MySQL databases.
- Hand-code standards-compliant XHTML/CSS.
- Research & recommend applicable open source software solutions; scope development tasks.
- Develop rich client functionality leveraging Javascript libraries such as Prototype, Scriptaculous, Behavior, Dojo, and others.
- 3 - 4 yrs developing dynamic websites & application services. Demonstrate 3 data-driven websites in which served as primary role.
- 2 -3 yrs creating/debugging HTML (hand coding), XHTML, CSS, DHTML, & Javascript
- Experience customizing & developing against open-source content-management solutions, ie: Drupal, Mambo/Joomla, WordPress etc.
- Knowledge of image slicing & optimization techniques.
