Our ideal candidate:
  • 3+ years experience developing commercial web applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Hands-on development experience using Ruby on Rails.
  • Strong background in OO design, MVC and data base driven application development.
  • Demonstrated experience with CSS, PHP, XML and AJAX.
  • Web 2.0 – Experience programming advanced applications combining blogs, wikis, RIA/AJAX, podcasting, and other capabilities.
  • Aptitude for and proficiency in programming and design techniques.
  • Understanding of technical architectures and the current state of the technology market in several technology areas.
  • Ability to exhibit ownership, initiation, and incubation of new ideas and concepts on projects.
  • A desire to create business applications out of new technologies.
  • Experience in managing own and other's work effort including time management, estimation, completion, issue identification & resolution, and status reporting.

To be considered for Sr. Developer/Lead, you should also have:
  • Solid combination of architecture, design and implementation experience.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Desire to lead a small team of developers to achieve the right results.
