  • core web search (algorithmic backend as well as the front-end user experience)
  • social search applications (e.g. Answers, Delicious)
  • mobile search
  • search distribution (search clients, e.g. Y! Toolbar, publisher tools, etc.)

Core Responsibilities:
  • Effectively collaborate with business, marketing, technical and design teams to develop requirements, prioritize enhancements, and drive projects to completion.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and incorporate new product features into the Yahoo! Search platform on an ongoing basis
  • Define, track and improve key product metrics and develop tests against those metrics
  • Conduct competitive analysis and identify areas for differentiation
  • Build positive relationships and trust over time through a strong commitment to high quality & on time delivery
Required Qualifications:
  • 2-5 Years of product management experience, with solid track record of developing and launching successful products
  • Must have excellent communication and decision-making skills
  • Undergrad degree
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience developing/managing web-based products
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and relationship building skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment
  • MBA and Technical background
