Responsibilities:
The Technical Lead supports business development efforts by writing proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs) to solve client problems using Optaros services, needs little supervision in supporting sales, and effectively manages the technology track throughout the sales cycle. The Technical Lead is responsible for facilitating clients through decision making processes, including facilitating large and complex client meetings with up to 10 stakeholders in attendance and manages projects up to $1MM in scope and 10 person project teams.
Skills required
Management:
- 5+ years managing small to medium size (6-10) project teams.
- Hands on experience designing, developing and deploying large-scale custom enterprise application development projects.
- Ability to mulitask!! Every engagement is different and having the ability to play varied roles depending on engagement (hands on development, project management, client management, etc...) is key!!
Technical:
Extensive experience with several of the following:
- J2EE: EJB, Servlets, JSP, JMS,Struts, Hibernate, Spring, Tag Libraries, Symphony
- Open Source tools and frameworks
- Databases: SQL, MySQL, Postgres, Oracle
Hands on experience with OO Design Patterns, OOAD Methodologies
Consulting Craft:
- Ability to work directly with client through all stages of the engagement ( requirement gathering, design, development, implementation and delivery.)
- Excellent communicator (Faciliator, presentation, verbal and written)
