Director Of Marketing – New Media at LeapLab

LeapLab is seeking a Director of Marketing to develop and manage corporate marketing strategies and tactics, communications, sales support, market analysis, website content and design. The right candidate will have a strong understanding of affiliate marketing, web 2.0, direct response marketing, marketing communications, copywriting, and design. A creative, entrepreneurial spirit and excellent project management skills, coupled with attention to detail, are essential to success. This high impact position reports directly to the CEO.

We’ll be looking for you to:
  • Develop the strategic vision for all emerging digital media initiatives.
  • Assess online media needs and identify opportunities to strengthen marketing efforts.
  • Work with in-house resources and creative team to develop unique and strategically appropriate approaches, including the exploration of venues that utilize emerging technologies.
  • Investigate new technology and enhancements that can increase revenue, brand awareness and improve overall customer experience.
  • Creatively implement successful marketing campaigns using online and traditional techniques.
  • Develop and manage corporate and product brands and identities.
  • Develop good quality lead generation programs with proactive online direct marketing programs.
  • Work closely with sales team to develop sales collateral and provide support for increased sales.
  • Manage, develop and track email marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Manage the company’s websites and SEO projects, landing pages, media campaigns, blog communications, instant chat tool, and other online marketing functions and programs.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field. MBA preferred.
  • 4+ years of marketing communications experience in an internet environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of affiliate marketing, email marketing, search engine marketing, banner advertising, SEM, and general online and direct marketing principles.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Internet analytics packages
  • Ability to develop detailed financial models based on traffic assumptions.
  • Detailed knowledge of CPC advertising processes, tools, and techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, SQL, and log file analysis.
  • Knowledge of HTML, XML, PHP, PERL, and other scripting languages used on web sites.
  • Practical experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint necessary. Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Acrobat and other related programs a plus.
