The role: Advertising Program Specialist, Google Brand Accelerator - San Bruno, Chicago, and New York
Google is looking for Ad Programs Specialist to develop large scale online sponsorship concepts and programs in our office in San Bruno, CA.
The Ad Programs Specialist is responsible for pro-actively developing large scale sponsorship programs that help brand-focused advertisers reach and engage their consumers. The Ad Programs Specialist will demonstrate an understanding of advertiser and agency mindset and needs in the development of compelling sponsorships and sales materials. He/she will develop sponsorships that engage consumers and the YouTube community while providing platforms for advertisers to connect and engage with their audiences.
The successful candidate will develop sponsorships that leverage the full scale of Google's advertising product offerings and create compelling opportunities for brands to reach, connect and engage with their consumers.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with internal Google and YouTube teams to concept, build and execute compelling programs including the Google and YouTube product, content partnership, corporate communications, advertising sales, ad operations and project management teams.
- Manage sponsorship roll-out schedules; oversee the development of supporting media plans and sales presentations and act as an expert educating and supporting sales efforts.
- Establish and integrate metrics to track program effectiveness and success including brand impact studies and advertising response data.
- Liaise with the product teams in the development of new products, verticals and sponsorship opportunities. Deliver marketer/sales point-of-view to help shape these new offerings and maximize revenue.
- Manage implementation of sponsorships and programs in coordination with sales and project management team.
Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree, preferably from a leading institution.
- 5-7 years of experience in media and marketing at an ad agency or media company.
- Strong creative conceptualization capabilities, project management, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work well with metrics, numbers, and trends.
- Strong oral, writing and editing skills with a high attention to detail.
