Description:
At Intel, we constantly push the boundaries of innovation in order to make people's lives more exciting, more fulfilling, and easier to manage. Employees in our platform groups focus on technology that will make life richer and more convenient for everyone it touches. These technologies include Mobility, Digital Enterprise, Digital Home and Digital Health. Product development starts with rigorous analysis at the component feasibility stage and continues through production ramp. Systems engineers work on early product definition, ensuring that new product families meet quality and reliability requirements. Hardware teams work directly with process design and development teams to devise the best methods of production.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits.
- Evaluate, develop, and debug complex test methods.
- Optimize component production with focus on quality and cost.
- Work with process technology development and product teams on process and design.
- Develop reliability models that address return on investment (ROI), process limitations, Q&R requirements, and product usage models.
Requirements:
- Typical degrees include BS, MS, or PhD in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical and computing engineering, or computer science.
- Experience with board design and analysis; ASIC design, analysis, and simulation; and design for manufacturability.
- Experience with Cadence Concept and Allegro; RF circuit design and debug; firmware development.
- Knowledge of networking/communications protocols, Windows development, object-oriented design, compilers, and Active X.
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, TCL, assembly and Perl.
