Working closely with product management, UI designers, visual designers and engineering the Flash Developer will be responsible for the architecture and development of all of YouTube’s flash based feature expansion. Although interactive design experience is preferred, the primary responsibility of this role is flash development.
Requirements:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Development experience in C/C++ or Java.
- Experience with Flash communication server and/or Flash remoting a bonus, but not required.
- Flash/ActionScript/JavaScript/HTML/CSS experience.
- Experience with Flash Media Server.
- Experience with server-side web frameworks.
- Deep experience designing modular, object-oriented ActionScript.
- Data driven UI experience.
- Approaches Flash solution as a software engineering project.
