YouTube's Internal Tools team creates systems for managing key areas of the YouTube website. Areas include support, media reviewing, content management, advertising and sales. Internal Tools covers many sections of the youtube product, and allows for close interaction with the users of your applications while still delivering systems used by millions of youtube.com users.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop applications used by support, content management and sales.
- Design and develop applications used by support, content applications using web technologies.
- Collaborate with other engineers on code reviews, internal infrastructure, and process enhancements.
Requirements:
- BS/MS in CS or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of Internet/web technologies like HTTP, HTML, AJAX and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of C++ or Python.
- Experience in SQL and relational database structures.
- Proven track record of delivering functional and maintenance releases.
- Ability to cope with fast-paced and constantly changing environments.
- Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
