Strategic Partner Development Manager (Mobile) at YouTube

This position is available in San Bruno, CA.

YouTube, a Google company, is looking for a Strategic Partner Development Manager (Mobile) who will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and maintaining YouTube's relationships with mobile carriers, device manufacturers, and third-party mobile software development companies.

Founded in February 2005, YouTube is the leader in online video, and the premier destination to watch and share original videos worldwide through a Web experience. YouTube allows people to easily upload and share video clips on www.youtube.com and across the Internet through websites, mobile devices, blogs and email. YouTube has quickly become the leading destination on the Internet for video entertainment.

Responsibilities:
  • Proactively develop and manage pipeline of mobile partnerships.
  • Create and negotiate partnership term sheets, legal contracts.
  • Develop YouTube mobile strategy and work cross-functionally to ensure execution of mobile strategy.
  • Conduct competitive analysis.
  • Develop business forecasts, contract renewal schedules, and opportunities "road map".

Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years prior experience in executing strategic alliances, deal sourcing and contract negotiation in the mobile/media/entertainment industries.
  • Broad understanding of the mobile landscape (key players and stakeholders).
  • 5-7 years business development experience in mobile industry.
  • Strong interest in mobile industry, mobile technology applications.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including presentation writing and delivery.
  • Candidates must possess an ability to interact at all levels of an organization.
  • Successful candidates must also demonstrate strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Candidates who have worked directly with telecom operators, mobile content companies and/or MVNOs, preferred.
  • Strong applications experience (MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Domestic and international travel may be required (estimated 25%).
