The role: Media Programs Development Manager, Google Brand Accelerator - San Bruno, Chicago, or New York

Google is looking for a Manager to develop Media Plans, Programs and Packages.

The Media Programs Development Manager is responsible for proactively developing advertising sales programs against key audience segments, educating the sales team on programs and opportunities, packaging premium content and sponsorship programs, proactively marketing programs to the sales to assist in sell-through and working with sales to assemble engaging programs in response to RFP requests.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of media planning professionals in the development of robust and compelling YouTube and Google product offerings.
  • Developing strategic positioning for YouTube ad programs and develop a framework for creating compelling programs around YouTube inventory.
  • Work with Google Industry Managers and Vertical Sales leads to identify focus areas and high value opportunities.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of advertiser and agency mindset and needs in the development of compelling media plans, advertising programs and sales materials.
  • Liaise with the Google and YouTube product teams in the development of new media products, verticals and sponsor-able opportunities; deliver marketer/sales point-of-view to help shape these new offerings and maximize revenue.

Requirements:
  • Strong media background and understanding of how to build compelling media plans.
  • 8-10 years of experience in media and marketing at an ad agency or media company.
  • Ability to work well with metrics, numbers, and trends.
  • Exceptional budget management, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Strong oral, writing and editing skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Strong academic performance preferred.
