Position: Senior QA Engineer
Location: San Francisco, CA

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the planning, execution, and reporting of tests
• Document test plans, test cases, and generate detailed defect reports
• Analyze algorithms in highly complex systems
• Automate testing of applications using SQL and scripting languages like Perl or Python
• Execute testing on applications with no graphical user interface
• Create white-box tests on java applications
• Serve as a mentor to junior engineers

Requirements:

• 5+ years server testing or software development experience
• Highly detail oriented
• Strong understanding of algorithms and their usage in software engineering
• Proficient in a JAVA environment
• Strong knowledge of relational databases
• Experience with black box and white box testing
• Ability to work well with developers, QA engineers and non-engineering personnel
• Comfortable in a startup environment
• Strong organizational and verbal/written communication skills
• Degree in C.S., Mathematics or related field desired (relevant experience will be considered)

Additional (desired) Skills:

• SW development experience in Java, C++, or Perl
