Facebook is looking for a well-rounded top performer who can be a key contributor in a high-energy growth environment. The ideal candidate is one who has been a top academic performer with a proven track record in global, high tech companies and has the desire to excel in everything they do. Your work history should demonstrate job stability with increasing levels of responsibility. This is a full time position reporting to the Accounting Manager.

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Responsibilities:

• Assist with monthly close including account reconciliation, financial reporting and analysis
• Perform technical accounting research and prepare documentation outlining issues and conclusions
• Support and review monthly reconciliations of International subsidiaries
• Assist in review of global consolidated reconciliations
• Assist with improving, implementing and documenting processes and internal control policies and procedures
• Identify opportunities for process improvements or automation and then drive the implementation of the solution
• Support various organizational requirements such as audit and tax preparation
• Other projects and initiatives as required

Requirements:

• B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA a plus
• CPA required
• 3+ years relevant experience with Big Four and minimum of 3+ years with large, fast-growing, multi-national company
• Solid knowledge of GAAP, including FAS 52
• Related industry experiences a plus
• Strong computer and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel
• Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Superb attention to detail yet possesses an understanding of the "big picture”
• Organized and thorough with desire for continuous improvement
