Candidate will be working as a client-side Web developer in Metacafe's Portal development team.
Responsibilities include:
Development and implementation of new front-end / client side features for Web Portal, Maintenance and improvement of existing XHTML, JS and CSS code, Integration of latest client-side technologies into Portal architecture Quality assurance of client-side coding standards and SEO.
Candidate should have excellent knowledge of client/server and Web 2.0 technologies and be able to produce W3C standard-compliant, cross-platform code according to technical and visual specifications.
- Minimum 2 years experience in client-side Web development
- W3C Standard-compliant Web development with XHTML/CSS
- JavaScript, DOM & DHTML
- AJAX
- OOP
- Adobe Photoshop
- High level of English
- Undergraduate (B.A. / B.Sc.) degree
