Friendster is currently seeking a Web Developer with experience in front-end web development with emphasis in building consumer/customer facing web sites. Must have a strong sense of user-friendly interface design. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small innovative team that will influence and define online community.
Necessary Experience, Education and Attributes
- B.S. in Engineering or Computer Science
- 5+ years experience on a consumer website development team
- Expert level HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript,W3C DOM skills; some experience in AJAX
- Demonstrated understanding of how implementation choices impact user experience in terms of browser compatibility, accessibility and performance
- Entrepreneurial drive and ability to deliver in a fast-paced release environment
- Keeps up with current Internet trends and technology
- Knowledge of XML, XSL, PHP
