Slide is seeking an individual who is passionate about engineering and wants to push the limits of what is possible on the web. Our web developers do it all - from styling pages to hooking up the businees logic - we build fast and mean.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for developing our website front-end using CSS, HTML and JavaScript. Ideal candidate knows when and why to use tables, has knowledge of when an XMLHTTPRequest is useful versus when it is just cool, and can hand tune markup for efficient rendering.
Requirements:
- B.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of solid software development experience
- Expertise in JavaScript / HTML / CSS
- Experience with Python / PHP / Ruby
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to assist other team members in problem solving.
- Excellent knowledge of Internet/Web technologies, such as browsers, firewalls, and http.
