Job Description: Play a primary roll in developing Cisco''s C++ mobility client software.
- Architect, design and develop key C++ features and components for client software running on mobile phones including Windows Mobile devices. Requires extensive work on networking, data model, native phone integration, and UI-facing systems is involved.
- Contribute to system-level architectural discussions, review and provide feedback of requirements, design and test documents.
- Work closely with team members to integrate solutions.
- Work closely with server and QA engineers to isolate and debug system problems.
- 5+ years of progressive engineering experience in C++ based commercial product development.
- Strong object-oriented design skills.
- Strong experience in embedded systems/constrained devices development.
- Proven ability in delivering complex development projects on time.
- Experience writing and reviewing architecture and design specifications, UML modeling.
- Experience with at least one of Symbian, BREW, Windows CE/Windows Mobile platforms required.
- Experience with the following highly desired: user interface design, databases, data modeling, networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, Binary XML, SIP), cellular networks (GPRS, EDGE, etc).
Typically requires MSEE/CS/Business combine with 5 - 7 years of related experience, or BSEE/CS Combine with 7 – 10+ years of related experience in a software or telecommunications environment.
