How Big Can You Think?

Yahoo is looking for an entry level network engineer or Sr operations tech to help maintain and expand Yahoo's Production network infrastructure. The ideal candidate is team-oriented and a fast learner who combines excellent operational judgment with network design, management, and troubleshooting skills.


Responsibilities:
Gathering network requirements for Yahoo's dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Implement new network infrastructure to facilitate long-term growth.
Deploying network connectivity and hardware on a global scale.
Manage Small remote network Peering centers entirely, AND all network infrastructure aspects of large production data centers.

Participate in large and small scale planning discussion with the network operations teams.
Be a participant in the overall management scheme of the region you are located.
