Business Development Manager at skype

The Brief
Skype is the world’s fastest-growing internet communication offering. Every day thousands of small businesses are turning to Skype as a way to slash their calling costs and transform the way they communicate. Skype for Business is the perfect solution for Businesses to slash costs and increase productivity. Our current range of products and services include: Skype Credit Vouchers and Skype Small Business Pack. The small business pack includes all a business needs to get started on Skype. This role is to build and manage effective on-line distribution channels to target SMB and Soho with Skype’s Business paid for products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for the development of the On-line Resellers Program, and other On-line initiatives driving sales of paid for products (Skype Credit; Skype Business Pack).
  • Responsible for driving sales through direct and indirect online actions.
  • Identify targets, build business plans and design projects.
  • Negotiate and build relationship with reselling partners globally.
  • Coordinate internally with marketing, hardware, payment, and developers teams to support sales projects.
  • Responsible for scaling and managing the business.
Pre-requisite Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Strong business development/marketing background in the on-line market.
  • Strong knowledge/understanding of the SMB/Soho communication needs and distribution channels.
  • Experience with coordinating activities of a variety of internal and external resources (partners, legal, marketing, engineering, etc.)
  • Strong executor with a track record of building business based decisions and meeting targets.
  • Proven track record in a high growth, innovative and fast paced environment.
  • Enthusiast about Skype

Qualifications
