Senior C#/.NET Engineer at GoDaddy

Job Description

GoDaddy.com has an immediate opening at our Gilbert office for a highly motivated, self-starting Senior .Net Engineer.

Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for development using Microsoft .NET Technologies to create, design, code and enhance web-based software applications to expand and improve GoDaddy.com’s suite of hosting products
Design and development of complex, distributed Windows applications using IIS, ASP.NET 2.0, MSMQ, AD

Skills/Requirements:
  • 5+ years of hands-on programming experience in team environments working on distributed systems
  • Solid academic background – Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or other technical field
  • In depth knowledge and experience with .NET(C#)
  • Skilled at turning UI designs into attractive, feature-rich, dynamic user interfaces using the latest techniques in web application development (e.g. ASP.NET AJAX)
  • Strong knowledge of OOD and SOA design principles
  • Experience with C++/COM a plus
  • Server-side development on Windows platform. Unix/Linux experience a plus
  • Relational database design, database normalization techniques
  • SQL development utilizing MSSQL and MySQL DBMS
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Performance/Load/Stress tolerant design for high availability and high concurrent usage systems
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Capable of working with project manager to turn business requirements into an effective system design
  • Mature, independent, yet receptive to team participation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels within the organization
  • Support multiple concurrent projects
