Position summary:
The Search Engine Marketing Specialist builds and manages online search advertising campaigns for select Go Daddy customers. The SEM Specialist will also be a key contributor to the ongoing development of the Professional Services program at Go Daddy.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and developing search engine marketing campaigns for diverse online markets.
- Working directly with business owners to drive traffic and optimize online campaigns.
- Managing keyword portfolios on multiple search engine platforms.
- Implementing and reviewing creative as well as testing multiple creative ads in order to identify the most effective ad placement.
- Testing, tracking, monitoring, analyzing and reporting results.
- Recommending new strategies based on campaign results and market conditions.
- Skills/Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years search engine marketing experience in various markets.
- BS/BA degree in marketing, communications or business.
- Knowledge of ecommerce and internet-based business models.
- Experience evaluating creative messages, analyzing results and optimizing campaigns.
- Knowledge of Organic Search Engine Optimization strategies a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Candidate must have strong analytical skills, be detail oriented and a self-starter.
- Experience with search engine, online advertising, direct marketing and/or email marketing strongly preferred.
- Must have HTML experience and be proficient with Microsoft Office Products.
- Industry certification a plus (GAP, Ambassador)
