Media Coordinator, YouTube - San Bruno

The role: Media Coordinator, YouTube

The YouTube Media Coordinator plays a vital, detail-oriented, post-sales support role. Specifically, you'll focus on the operations and technical aspects of actual media campaigns while assisting with the Sales team's day-to-day administrative needs. This includes providing quality assurance, logging traffic, pulling campaign placement reports and reviewing the status of campaigns in order to optimize their performance. Additionally, you'll troubleshoot and resolve site and advertiser issues, requiring you to handle clients with grace and confidence while working closely with the engineering team. Patient, adaptable and dedicated, you also possess great time-management skills and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the ad server to book, track, optimize and report on all media campaigns.
  • Traffic and schedule creative meetings with interactive agencies.
  • Work with Finance on client billing and collection activities.
  • Serve as the central resource for YouTube ad policies and compliance.
  • Prepare and edit the HTML code for advertisements, and produce weekly reports outlining campaign performance.

Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree.
  • At least one year of experience, preferably in the advertising industry. focusing on sales and/or client services.
  • Exposure to video advertising.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript and rich media/Flash banner functionalities.
  • Experience using an ad server and working with third-party creative tags such as DoubleClick, Atlas and Mediaplex.
  • Strong communication and client-servicing skills.

The role: Creative Advertising Programs Manager

The Creative Advertising Programs Manager will employ a unique combination of business and creative sense to help the Media Solutions team develop industry leading advertising concepts and sponsorship programs. This role will be responsible for overall team support, project management and allocation of creative resources to incoming projects. He/she will provide business management support, identify key team milestones and insure team is delivering against key objectives. The Creative Advertising Programs Manager will directly oversee the management of creative resources both internal and external and will source and manage freelance / temporary help when necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall project management and support for the Media Solutions team, monitoring progress against objectives, and provide regular status reports.
  • Serve as the primary source of all information related to projects and ensure clear communication between all relevant internal and external parties.
  • Manage internal and external design resources in the development of industry leading creative advertising concepts.
  • Monitor Media Solutions team work flow and quality control, insuring efficient and effective resource allocation.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS required with strong academic performance preferred.
  • 5+ years managing creative design, interactive project management, or studio management in an interactive agency or creative media services.
  • Strong business acumen and attention to detail.
  • Strong project management, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Google is looking for a Manager to develop Media Plans, Programs and Packages.

The Advertising Programs Manager is responsible for proactively developing advertising sales programs against key audience segments, educating the sales team on programs and opportunities, packaging premium content and sponsorship programs, proactively marketing programs to the sales to assist in sell-through and working with sales to assemble engaging programs in response to RFP requests.
Responsibilities:

Build and lead a team of creatively minded media specialists in the development of innovative marketing programs.
Manage team strategy identifying key opportunities to drive revenue and satisfy the needs of Google clients.
Build strong relationships with Google product team leads to provide and build innovative integrated solutions.
Create and manage external vendor relationships to support program development.

Requirements:

Strong media background and understanding of how to build compelling media & sponsorship programs.
8 - 10 years of experience in media and marketing at an ad agency or media company.
Experience leading and managing media teams and strategic media initiatives.
Ability to work well with metrics, numbers, and trends.
Strong academic performance preferred.
